Fueled
to Be
Fast.

SwimFueled builds personalized performance fueling plans for competitive swimmers — prescribed around each swimmer's body weight, events, and the exact timeline of their meet. Event by event. Gap by gap. Day by day.

400,000 Registered USA Swimming Athletes. Almost None Have a Real Fueling Plan.
Three things decide race day: training, mindset, and fueling. Two of them are already owned. The third — fueling — is just as decisive, and the only one nobody has ever coached or prescribed.

SwimFueled™ builds the fueling plan around the actual structure of a swim meet — event by event, gap by gap — sized to each individual swimmer.

The First Fueling Plan Built for Swim Meets.

Nutrition apps manage daily diet and macros. SwimFueled does something they don't — and can't. We prescribe exactly what to eat and drink in a 20-minute, 60-minute, 90-minute, sometimes 2-hour gap between races — at 1 to 4 day meets. Sports dietitians rarely work in this space. The science behind our protocols is peer-reviewed and well-established. We're the first to apply it to competitive swimming. That's the white space we own.

Fueling Is
Never Coached.

01
The Unfueled Practice

School lunch at noon. Practice at 3–5 PM. A 3 to 5 hour gap — and whatever was convenient on the drive over. The problem isn't always that nothing was consumed. It's that the wrong thing was. The final high-intensity block of every practice — where races are won and lost — is run on glycogen reserves that are already gone.

02
The Meet as a Multi-Day Endurance Event

4–6 events per day. 3–5 consecutive days. Every gap between events has a different fueling requirement determined by its length. The cumulative physiological cost compounds. Not a single product has ever understood this structure — until now.

03
Why Every Day Gets Worse

Glycogen resynthesis rates are highest in the first 0–2 hours after the last race. Team dinner arrives 90–180 minutes later. Day 2 starts already compromised. Then Day 3. Then Day 4 — often when the athlete's most important event is scheduled. Swimmers adding time on Day 4 is accepted as normal. It is not normal.

"The 15-year-old showing up to Junior Nationals hoping to achieve best times while college coaches are watching from the stands is trained to perform — but without proper fueling over a 4-day meet, the result is left to chance. I want every swimmer to show up to meets not only swim trained, but also swim fueled."

— Dora Jih, Founder & CEO · SwimFueled™

seconds faster in finals than his own prelim. Same day.

Age 15, Day 3, 100°F, no taper — after a 1500 Free that morning. Two Futures cuts at that meet. He didn’t get fitter in six hours. The only thing that changed was what he ate.

Plus Futures and Sectionals cuts across the group.

Two Pillars Are Owned.
Nobody Has Owned the Third.

01
Trained
The work in the pool. Technique, volume, taper. Decades of coaching craft — and not our business.
Coach’s domain
02
Mentally Ready
Focus, nerves, the race-day mind. Built over years of standing on blocks and learning what to do with the pressure.
Swimmer’s domain
03
Fueled
The right fuel, in the right amount, at the right time — prescribed around every practice and every event at meets, from Day 1 to Day 4. Every heat, every prelim, every final, and every recovery window in between.
SwimFueled’s domain
The one nobody has ever coached or prescribed. Until now.

Two of the three are already owned, and owned well. SwimFueled takes the third — the one a swimmer controls completely, and the one nobody has ever been given a plan for.

A Specific Prescription.
Not Generic Advice.

What to eat, how much, when, and which products — calculated from each swimmer's body weight, event schedule, and tested food tolerances. Built around food the swimmer already eats. Not a diet. Not a bottle of supplements.

Built by People Who Lived It.

SwimFueled was not built by people who read about the problem. It was built by people who lived it — as athletes, as coaches, and as the swimmer the product was made for.

Cornell ORIE B.S. + M.S. Cornell MBA 16× Ironman Ironman World Championship 2022 Triathlon Coach Since 2018

First triathlon 2004. First Ironman 2007. Racing Ironmans every year from 2010 — Ironman World Championship 2022, 16th Ironman Lake Placid 2024. Triathlon coach since 2018. In the 2024 season, coached five athletes including herself — all five qualified for the Ironman World Championship, three won their age group.

Watched Ana, her daughter, live the fueling gap at every level of competitive swimming from 2015 through UCLA graduation in 2025. Spent nearly a decade knowing exactly what product needed to exist. Now has the team, the story, the technology, and the proven methodology to build it.

Triathlon racing and coaching gave her the lens to recognize the problem and the conviction that a system could solve it. SwimFueled is something entirely new — built for a competition structure that has no equivalent in endurance sport.

UCLA D1 Swimmer NCAA Qualifier 3× School Record Holder UCLA Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year 2025

Competitive swimmer from age 5 through NCAA Championships. Made A Finals at Big 10 Championships. Qualified for NCAA Championships — 3 individual events + 4 relays. Graduated UCLA June 2025 with the highest GPA of any female athlete across all sports in the graduating class. Completed the 2025 LA Marathon in 3:27 in her first marathon — with a fueling plan.

Psychology major at UCLA, Ana understands that the mental component of racing — confidence, focus, the belief that you've done everything right — is inseparable from physical preparation. A swimmer who shows up properly fueled doesn't just perform better. She competes differently.

The product is built for who she was, the performance she knew was possible, and the thousands of swimmers who are exactly where she was before she figured it out.

She speaks the language because she lived it. She can walk into any pool deck in the country and every swimmer, parent, and coach in the room immediately understands why she built this.

Founding Engineer
Stanford B.S. EE Stanford M.S. CS ASIC Engineer · Nvidia Stanford Artistic Swimming · Collegiate National Champion Ironman World Championship 2025

4-year Stanford Artistic Swimming Team member and Collegiate National Champion. Coached by Dora in triathlon. At her first triathlon — a 70.3 in Santa Cruz, CA — qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship. At her first full Ironman — Ironman California 2024 — won her age group and qualified for the Ironman World Championship, finishing with specific carbohydrate targets for each segment and a fueling strategy tested in training. Obtained a Boston Marathon qualifying time at her first marathon, finishing in 3:22. In every instance, Ava followed a prescribed fueling plan without fail.

She is not just SwimFueled's engineer. She is living proof that the methodology works at the highest level on the first attempt — across three different disciplines, three times. Leads all technical development.

"This is not a brand looking for a face. This is a product built by athletes who lived the problem, proved the solution in their own performance, and refused to let another generation of swimmers show up to their most important race with a granola bar and a Gatorade."
